Q. What does Bed and Breakfast mean?
A. Graceburn Gardens offers traditional hosted Bed and Breakfast accommodation in our home overnight or for longer stays. The price includes a full cooked breakfast, delicious coffee and a variety of teas, parking and free wifi. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with quality toiletries. At our B&B we consider our patrons to be valued guests who will receive our hospitality and enjoy the luxurious comforts of our historic home and gardens.
Q. What is the difference between the Graceburn House and The Gallery?
A. Guests at Graceburn House enjoy a cooked breakfast in the dining room and have access to the guest lounge. This is traditional hosted B&B accommodation. The Gallery is private accommodation in a luxury self-contained apartment with a separate bedroom with queen bed, TV and DVD player, huge bathroom with a free-standing bath, walk-in shower and separate powder room. The living room has two sofa beds which can be prepared for additional guests by prior arrangement.
Gallery guests can prepare a continental or cooked breakfast with generous supplies provided and are welcome to self-cater other meals in the kitchenette. The Gallery is indeed a working gallery exhibiting vibrant art works which are available for purchase. Commissions can be arranged.
All Graceburn guests have access to the pool and extensive gardens.
Q. What time is check in?
A. Check in is from 2.00 PM until 9.00 PM.
Q. Can I check in early?
A. Early check in may be arranged directly with Graceburn Gardens only. Graceburn Gardens can only approve early check in when available and may revoke that approval at any time.
Q. What time is check out?
A. Check out is by 11.00 AM.
Q. Can I check out late?
A. Late check out may be arranged directly with Graceburn Gardens only. Graceburn Gardens can only approve late check out when available and may revoke that approval at any time.
Q. How can I pay?
A. Payment can be made by cash, Visa and Mastercard. If booking directly with Graceburn Gardens payment can be made by direct bank deposit.
Q. What are the differences between the rooms at Graceburn Gardens?
A. The common elements of the 3 bedrooms at Graceburn House are that each has its own spacious bathroom, individual heating and cooling, TV and DVD player, queen beds, seating, antiques and family heirlooms. All rooms offer bath robes, slippers, luxury toiletries and quality linen and a range of local tourist information. All rooms have stunning garden views and overlook the mountain for which each room is named. The Juliet and Riddell rooms have ensuite bathrooms and the St Leonard room, the master bedroom in days gone by, has a private bathroom a few steps down the hall. The essential difference is style so take a look at photos and see which room suits you best.
Q. Does Graceburn Gardens sell gift vouchers?
A. Yes we do. Please contact Graceburn Gardens directly to purchase personalised gift vouchers.
Q. Does Graceburn Gardens accommodate children, infants or pets?
A. Graceburn Gardens does not take pets. We recommend Yarra Valley Pet Resort if your four legged friends are travelling with you.
Graceburn Gardens does not accommodate infants or children in the B&B rooms in the house. Children can be accommodated in The Gallery apartment by arrangement.
Q. Does Graceburn Gardens have onsite parking?
We have a designated guest car park for 4 cars and can provide additional car parking. We can also provide carport or garage parking by prior arrangement for your special vehicle.
